The Flash

The show started excellently well with a gripping pilot and a good storyline. The flash was an exciting new addition to the arrowverse, with its first season being exceptional. Viewers immediately fell in love with Grant Gustin's Barry Allen (The Flash). The season was how he gets his powers, then learns how to use/control them and then tries to solve the mystery of his mother's death to avenge his father. Which was amazing and enjoyable.
After that gradually you wish to be able to go back into the mind of a little child. Sorry to say but if you have an IQ higher than that of a ten-year-old or are not a complete idiot, you will witness how cruelly they have killed a DC superhero character 'The Flash' and emerged a new universe of 'Power Rangers', where Barry Allen (The Flash) plays as a sidekick of his wife Iris. Flash seems to forget about his intelligent personality who can figure out the danger and countermeasures on his own. I thought his ability to run faster came from the ability to think faster and better. Now he seems heavily depends on other character's advice to use his powers. And of course, the show has to be repetitive, right? In every episode a new villain shows up,Flash also shows up with his confusing face, gets beating every time, runs like a pussy, takes advice from a team of specialists, who work in a high tech underground lab, they come up with some lame and pretty basic advice, flash returns to villain with his new move but same confusing face, villain dies and the series ends. There is consistency in repeating the same episodes after episodes. Thumbs up to that. Other than that there is no logic, no real drama, everything is predictable. This is an utter disaster.

There is no consistency with Barry's powers. The effects of running really fast depends on the shows timings. If it's the beginning of the episode, he will get slow. But if it is the ending, he will become the fastest man alive. A lot of plots make no sense. One point, a woman's shirt burns off despite that making no sense whatsoever, presumably because one of the writers thought that the actress was hot and knew he had the power to get her to reveal a little more. I am out od word. Not recommended at all.

Recommendation: Not Recommended.

Daredevil

When I heard Netflix was making a refurbished "Daredevil", I was skeptical at its success but also interested how the show could bring its angle and possibilities. To my surprise, Netflix's Daredevil is a masterpiece. The show is both thrilling and well designed. The plot is exceedingly engaging and thrilling. Every character which is introduced has a proper backstory. Thanks to the writing genius of Frank Miller. Who run's the Daredevil with other writers, such as Bendis and Brubaker. They bring out the incredible storytelling of Matt Murdock who is a lawyer in the morning but being blind, he fights with criminals at nights. The most compelling part of "Daredevil" is the villain Wilson Fisk. Vincent D'Onofrio nailed it. The menace and complexity in his voice even when he's not on the screen, and the cold, calculating and distant aspect of his body language, and the delivery of his dialogue, shows both the depth of his talent as an actor and th...

The Punisher

Finally, Punisher has done right! After so many fails from other film companies, Netflix decides to go all out and nailed it. They almost pull him right out of the comic which could not have been easy, from the deep yells as he unloads his guns on the bad guys to the twitch of a man who is now disturbed but slightly keeping it together to the tie in of the Punishers mane nemesis. This show is one of the best Netflix Marvel shows hands down. All of the main characters are great! It's an awesome superhero show, that isn't really a superhero show. Some might say that it's wrong to call The Punisher, Daredevil, etc "superhero" shows. But as the late, great Stan Lee said: "That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is true without a doubt, a real superhero." They don't need to be "super" to be heroes. As usual, Frank Castle doesn't have any special abilities, he's...

True Detective

While surfing IMDb for a new show to watch I came across True Detective, a show that had received excellent reviews across the board.IMDb ratings had been pretty reliable in giving me an idea of good a show would be. Season one deserved ten on ten, In fact, It's one of the best pieces of television series I've ever seen. That was a masterpiece. We have Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson playing the leads as 'Detective Rust and Marty' respectively, judging by first viewing, the hope & expectation rises automatically, they won't disappoint you. They are both very different characters yet very strong in their characterization, we get to know how they were in the 90s, and how they have changed into the present day, and how they both have different issues. The overall feel of the show is a little dark, but the mood seems perfect for the show & the cast compliment that brilliantly in season one. True Detective could well be right up there in the future but...
