Daredevil

When I heard Netflix was making a refurbished "Daredevil", I was skeptical at its success but also interested how the show could bring its angle and possibilities. To my surprise, Netflix's Daredevil is a masterpiece. The show is both thrilling and well designed. The plot is exceedingly engaging and thrilling. Every character which is introduced has a proper backstory. Thanks to the writing genius of Frank Miller. Who run's the Daredevil with other writers, such as Bendis and Brubaker. They bring out the incredible storytelling of Matt Murdock who is a lawyer in the morning but being blind, he fights with criminals at nights. The most compelling part of "Daredevil" is the villain Wilson Fisk. Vincent D'Onofrio nailed it. The menace and complexity in his voice even when he's not on the screen, and the cold, calculating and distant aspect of his body language, and the delivery of his dialogue, shows both the depth of his talent as an actor and th

The Flash

The show started excellently well with a gripping pilot and a good storyline. The flash was an exciting new addition to the arrowverse, with its first season being exceptional. Viewers immediately fell in love with Grant Gustin's Barry Allen (The Flash). The season was how he gets his powers, then learns how to use/control them and then tries to solve the mystery of his mother's death to avenge his father. Which was amazing and enjoyable. After that gradually you wish to be able to go back into the mind of a little child. Sorry to say but if you have an IQ higher than that of a ten-year-old or are not a complete idiot, you will witness how cruelly they have killed a DC superhero character 'The Flash' and emerged a new universe of 'Power Rangers', where Barry Allen (The Flash) plays as a sidekick of his wife Iris. Flash seems to forget about his intelligent personality who can figure out the danger and countermeasures on his own. I thought his ability to ru

Arrow

I did not know why I have watched a series called 'Arrow'.Maybe for some change, for some fresh air. Now I do regret this for choosing 'Arrow'.It's the worst one. If you want to spend some quality time, watch something else that I have reviewed below. The 'Arrow' started off great from season one, onto season two with meaningful flashbacks, great villains, good pacing, fitting dark tone, then it began to slow down with nonsense storyline. One major critic of the show will be how often the writers attempted to put too many love sequences in a superhero show(come on, this is not sex and the city), another will be the story doesn't follow up with the Green Arrow comics. Fans would love to see, If the show sticks to its action first and love story later, it will be more consistent and this will keep the show alive for a longer number of seasons. The best part of this show is that it provides its viewers with crossover episodes and team-ups with other s

MR.ROBOT

We finally have an intense psychological thriller show that doesn't treat its audience like idiots. The creators actually spent some time doing their homework and the result is a work of art. Fantastic characters, iconic cinematography, all thanks to Sam Esmail's ingenious vision. By far it has the closest technical reality when it comes to hacking. No nonsense giant pacmans eating pixels on the screen or progress bars labeled "VIRUS" either. You can see the actual Unix coding on a computer screen. Staring Rami Malek, Christian Slater, and Portia Doubleday. They are brilliant and the plot is very intelligent. Telling the story of a hard-working, struggling cyber engineer with hard drug addiction. It also depicts a realistic representation of how "our democracy has been hacked." It is also a very real-life story with quotes like, "I should just tell her what she wants to hear," and, "We're all living in each other's paranoia."

Fargo

Season one and two are just awesome. Season three has soo many 'humor-ish' moments in it. Personally, I think that the first two seasons were well balanced. And the third season is a balance between serious thriller-ish elements and exaggerated elements which made it not too much towards the best, which is a shame. Season one of the first episode itself left me with anxious tingles down my spine. Martin Freeman as Bilbao Baggins, whatever he does impresses me. His performance is just perfect, and his body language, reactions, and the accent. It is just amazing that an English can do such a unique northern American accent. Hats of to him. Billy Bob Thornton did an excellent job showing a baddie with such a power of manipulation. As usual, his performance is mind-blowing, every scene of him is jaw-dropping with some chills. And the others were also excellent. And the story is very well written. Thanks to Noah Hawley and the writing team to successfully crafted crime stories

True Detective

While surfing IMDb for a new show to watch I came across True Detective, a show that had received excellent reviews across the board.IMDb ratings had been pretty reliable in giving me an idea of good a show would be. Season one deserved ten on ten, In fact, It's one of the best pieces of television series I've ever seen. That was a masterpiece. We have Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson playing the leads as 'Detective Rust and Marty' respectively, judging by first viewing, the hope & expectation rises automatically, they won't disappoint you. They are both very different characters yet very strong in their characterization, we get to know how they were in the 90s, and how they have changed into the present day, and how they both have different issues. The overall feel of the show is a little dark, but the mood seems perfect for the show & the cast compliment that brilliantly in season one. True Detective could well be right up there in the future but

Rick and Morty

Rick and Morty is easily the best animated show on television right now. Shows like The Simpsons, Futurama and Archer were presumed to have set the bar for animated series in the modern era. With all due respect, Rick and Morty walked in with elements from all these great animated shows and simply decimated the competition. The show features aliens, alien planets, wormholes, time travel, alternate dimensions, rapid cellular evolution, space travel, and mutation. Disintegration, talking dogs, sentient robots, shrink rays, growth rays, a giant naked Santa Claus in low orbit around the Earth. The humor, the creativity is absolutely mind-blowing. Sometimes it's not comfortable to watch, but that's one thing that makes it so hilarious. It's really dark sometimes and the viewer with a good sense of humor will appreciate that. Sometimes they are dumb, sometimes smart, and sometimes raunchy, but they are always funny. Whatever your expectations of where an episode will go, yo

Sherlock

"Sherlock" is a BBC mini-series which is based on the books of the Scottish writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and released in 2010. I have been a fan of Sherlock Holmes from a very young age and my first reaction upon hearing of a modern TV remake was "oh, they are so going to screw this".I was a bit skeptical. However, I am glad to account that, unlike so many other TV adaptations and especially ones that modernize, I found it humorous, clever and above all, entertaining. I think it is always a bit doubtful and tricky when a 19th-century series or film is modernized and most of the time it doesn't work, especially if it is familiar and liked but I was very very impressed. I was extremely delighted with its considerable pedigree and they included a large number of references and flashbacks for the more avid fan, e.g. the use of scratches around a person's mobile phone charger port to indicate a drunkard rather than a pocket watches winding keyhole. I imagine

Attack on Titan(Shingeki no kyojin)

This anime grabbed me in the first episode. Kept me on the edge of my seat. It's so intense. The concept and storyline are on point and keep you thrilled and wanting more. I´ve seen all the episodes several times but it still makes me feel like for the first time. It has a gripping story, fantastic music, and really good animation. Definitely one of the best anime I have seen. The story is one of the most captivating stories I have ever seen. Hundred years prior to the start of the anime, humanity has been on the bridge of extinction due to the monstrous, humongous humanoid Titans that devour humans. Now, at present day in the anime, the remaining small inhabitants of mankind lives in a restricted area surround with 3 "heavenly" walls that are so strongly and solidly built that even the Titans can't break in. The most outermost wall was named, Wall Maria, which is approximately 50 meters in height, the middle wall was named Wall Rose, and the innermost wall name

Band of Brothers

In 2001, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg were working on a project about the European liberation of the Allied forces. That was based on the book "Band Of Brothers" by Steven Ambrose. The result was a ten-hour long mini tv-series that could dig a bit deeper into several aspects of the liberation. Such as the training, Normandy, Bastogne or Market Garden. The results are awesome. They made the most historical accurate projections ever to hit the TV screen. You can not find any heroes who'll not get hit by an enemy(like in other movies or tv-series), people get killed and often no coverage is done to show the most pathetic and brutal parts of the war. 'Band of Brothers' follows Easy-company from their training in England, through D-Day, the rest of France (including Bastogne), Holland (including Operation Market Garden), Germany and Austria. Those stories have been shown to us in ten different episodes. Every episode starts with the men served in Easy-company tel

Supernatural

When I first saw the trailer of the show, I thought the usual horror show that used to be so boring. But after watching the first season it blew me away. It's a mini horror movie every week with a unique story. It brings American urban legends into your home each episode. From the exceptional writing to the awesome soundtrack, this TV show is a step above the rest. I love seeing the dynamic between the brothers, Sam and Dean. It's like whatever happened in the past, the family is always family. Special effects were so great, it's like watching Avengers And that car. The brothers travel across America with the classic '67 Impala, With the classic rock music blaring on the cassette player and the roar of the engine, My god someone has a taste. this car is soo cool! The story is all about paranormal phenomena and mythological creatures, but the storytelling technique pulls you in and holds your attention, making you want to know a lot more about those supernatural th

Lost

It's Intriguing, mind-bending, well written, perfectly acted, and the story was masterfully told through flashbacks (which I found rather fascinating). Although the finale to Lost was quite underwhelming, it's the moments in between the first episode and the last episode that really make these, one of the greatest. The only thing to say 'It's good to be a little lost.' Recommendation : Recommended.

Death Note

This is anime, at its best. I'm relatively new to the world of anime, but I have to say from what I've seen so far that Death Note goes above and beyond from your action based anime. Whereas a lot of anime relies on action-packed battles and fights, Death Note is a refreshing change of pace. The story is slick, witty and smart enough that makes you always guessing. It depicts a cat-and-mouse game that keeps taking turns going for and against the two lead foes. What I like the most is that this is very complex material but it's nicely presented so each new development in the case comes as an exciting shock. I would definitely recommend it. Recommendation : Highly recommended.

Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad, simply, is one of television's best programs. To say this program is great is an understatement. AMC lucked out when they first picked it up, because it's largely considered by many, to be one of the best TV shows of all time. Overall, the highlight of Breaking Bad, to me is it's great characters and acting from its awesome cast. Bryan Cranston leads this show to greatness as Walter White. All of the seasons of this show are amazing, but season 5 is particularly phenomenal, and definitely one of the best single seasons of a show I've ever seen. The powerful themes, incredible acting, thought-provoking scenarios, and emotional moments make these programs valuable views. When I started watching it, I could not get out of it. I did not come out of my room for 3 days and completed 5 seasons eventually. I could not find anything that can top this show. It intensifies season by season. There's a reason it's the biggest watercooler series to arr

One Piece

Hmmm, now how do I put this? Should I point out the pros and cons, it used to be brilliant but its getting worst day by day. It used to have so much fun, action, drama, and emotion. Now it is just a stupid character with their stupid power. I think one piece writer is out of new ideas. I mean look at the characters earlier and look the characters these days, stupid and mostly irritating. They are just stretching a single episode with no story at all. You wait the whole week and get this piece of crap. What is hell right? I am really getting annoyed with Big Mom chasing for stupid cake. Seriously guys? Is this the best you guys can offer? Where is that awesome story and emotion and comedy that one piece used to provide? Even burning Going Merry made most of us cry. Sorry, One piece but this is not going well. Recommendation : Not recommended. (If You want to see it from the beginning)
